In Touch - Africa, Brazil and the Portuguese language
Portuguese MEP José Ribeiro e Castro is organising a conference on the role of the Portuguese language in Portuguese speaking countries, in room ASP 5E3 of the European Parliament in Brussels on 11 September.
José Eduardo Agualusa, Angolan writer, Eddy Stols, Professor of the Catholic University of Leuven, and Harrie Lemmens, professional translator are the main speakers at the conference, also attended by politicians and diplomats of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), as well as European Commission representatives.
