Singing Revolution

Tunne Kelam MEP (EPP-ED, Estonia) is co-hosting a celebration of Estonia’s Independence Day on Tuesday, February 27, at 18.00 in the European Parliament (Room ASP 1E2). A new documentary film "Singing Revolution" will be screened to mark this event.

"Singing Revolution", produced and directed by James and Maureen Tusty, premiered in December at the opening of the international Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn. A leading Estonian newspaper described the film as an “extremely moving summary of Estonia's dramatic history” and as “a hymn to Estonian culture that saved the nation from extinction”. The authors of the movie will participate in the celebration.
