Next week, the Constitutional Affairs Committee of the European Parliament will vote on MEP Alexander Stubb's report on the EU's integration capacity. Following the vote, Mr Stubb will host a press conference on Tuesday 14 November at 15.00 in Strasbourg.

Background:The European Union is trying to define its capacity to intergrate (absorb) new member states. Mr. Stubb's report, which will be voted in the Constitutional Committee on Monday evening, is one of three major documents on the subject. The Commission issued its report on Wednesday 8 November. The European Council of December will discuss "all aspects of enlargement, including the Union's capacity to absorb new member states". In the press conference Mr. Stubb will discuss the content and conclusions of his report.
