Struggles for Freedom in Central and Eastern Europe
A conference "Struggles for Freedom in Central and Eastern Europe" is organised in the European Parliament on eve of the European Solidarity and Freedom Day of 31 August. The conference, which is organised by EPP-ED MEPs Wojciech Roszkowski (Poland) and György Schöpflin (Hungary) is taking place in European parliament PHS building, 5th floor, room B01 at 15.00-16.00 hours on 30 August.
The Speakers of the Conference will be MEPs Tunne Kelam (EPP-ED, Estonia), Vytautas Landsbergis (EPP-ED, Lithuania), Jacek Saryusz-Wolski (EPP-ED, Poland), György Schöpflin (EPP-ED, Hungary) and Wojciech Roszkowski (UEN, Poland), Ģirts Valdis Kristovskis (UEN, Latvia) and Dr Edwin T. Bacon, Honorary Senior Research Fellow of the University of Birmingham.
