Public Hearing on 'The Nordstream Pipeline and its impact on the Baltic Sea'

The Committee on Petitions with association of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy is holding a public hearing on "The Nordstream Pipeline and its impact on the Baltic Sea" on Tuesday 29 January. The positions of the Industry Committees and the Foreign Affairs will be presented by Angelika Niebler MEP (EPP-ED, Germany) and Christopher Beazley MEP (EPP-ED, United Kingdom).

The meeting will take place between 10.00am and 17.30pm in room ASP 1G2 of the European Parliament. Among the speakers will be Stavros Dimas, European Commissioner responsible for Environment Policy and Andris Piebalgs, European Commissioner responsible for Energy Policy as well as other representatives of the Research and Industry organisations. The information on the opinion of the Industry Committee will be given at 15pm.
