At the initiative of Stanisław Jałowiecki MEP (EPP-ED Poland), the only member coming from the region of Slask Opolski in Poland, an exhibition of the Easter traditions of that region took place in the European Parliament building in Strasbourg on 8 March 2005.
The exhibition consisted of two parts. The first one was an exposition of 8 wooden monument churches. The second one was dedicated strictly to the Easter traditions of the region.
