	Jana Hybášková is the new Chairwoman of the SNK ED (Czech Republic) Jana Hybášková MEP was elected Chairwoman of the SNK ED party at the Congress on Sunday 25 June. 	Jacek Saryusz-Wolski is the new Vice-Chairman of the PO (Poland) Jacek Saryusz-Wolski MEP was elected a Vice-Chairman of the Platforma Obywatelska party at the party national council meeting on Sunday 25 June. The new Vice-Chairman is also Vice-President of the European Parliament and head of the Polish national delegation in the EPP-ED. More information: www.platforma.org
	EPP Workers' Group met in Portugal The EPP Workers' Group met in Porto, Portugal on 23-24 June. The focus of the meeting was on the issues of the ageing population and the labour market. The problems deriving from the fast-ageing of the European population throughout the EU were discussed by EPP-ED MEPs Csaba Öry (Hungary, President of the Workers' Group), José Silva Peneda (Portugal), Philip Bushill-Matthews (United Kingdom), Ria Oomen-Ruijten (The Netherlands) and Thomas Mann (Germany), politicians (Luís Marques Mendes, Chairman of the Portuguese PSD Party), academics and representatives of the labour organisations from several EU countries.
	Lors des élections administratives italiennes de la semaine dernière, Mario Mantovani, MdPE, a été réélu Maire d'Arconate, commune proche de Milan. C'est son second mandat consécutif pour lequel il a obtenu 68 % des votes.
