Women & Spirituality: Women's Rights Human Rights, Religious Rights : A sacred triangle?

Erna Hennicot-Schoepges MEP (Luxembourg) organised a hearing on Women and Spirituality on Thursday 13th November in the European Parliament in Brussels. The hearing was opened by EPP-ED Group Chairman Joseph Daul MEP.

The role of women in Buddhism, Protestant women in the 21st century and women's role in the Orthodox Church today, were some of the issues on the agenda.

The EPP-ED has a long experience in the domain of interreligious dialogue respecting the European values and the importance of religious pluralism.
