The European Parliament's Security and Defence Sub-committee and the Committee on Foreign Affairs are holding a public hearing on whether Europe needs an anti-missile defence shield on Thursday 28th June at 10am to 12.30pm.

Key speakers include Peter Flory, Assistant Secretary-General for Defence Investment, NATO, and François Heisbourg, Special Advisor, Fondation pour la recherche stratégique, Paris. Karl von Wogau MEP (Germany), Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Defence, and Jacek Saryusz-Wolski MEP (Poland), Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, will make the opening and concluding remarks of the hearing.
