The European Parliament's Transport Committee is holding a public hearing on including aviation in the emissions trading scheme on Wednesday 27th June at 9am to 12pm. |
| The hearing will include several presentations by climate change and aviation experts. Rapporteur Georg Jarzembowski MEP (Germany) will make the final remarks. Peter Liese MEP (Germany), rapporteur for the Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety, is also holding a press conference in advance of the hearing on Tuesday 26th June at 10.00am. |
