Open Days in the European Parliament
Brussels, 5 May 2007
On the
5th of May in Brussels the European Parliament opened its doors to the public. Citizens were invited to visit the Parliament and take part in various activities. The event marks part of this year's celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome.
As in previous years in Brussels, the EPP-ED Group invited its Belgian parties to participate in the Open days alongside its own presentation stands. The CD&V/N-VA and the CDH-CSP were present with the participation of Ivo
Belet MEP and Frederika
Brepoels MEP.
Rodi
Kratsa-Tsagaropoulou MEP (Greece), Vice-President of the European Parliament, officially inaugurated the open day with her Majesty, Queen Paola of Belgium.
The EPP-ED Group had exhibitions in both seats of the Parliament, enabling visitors to learn more about its history, founding fathers, and vision for the future.

Strasbourg, 1st May 2007
On the
1st May in Strasbourg the European Parliament opened its doors to the public.
The French delegation of the EPP-ED Group attended with the participation of Chairman Joseph
Daul MEP, as well as the German delegation with the participation Rainer
Wieland MEP.
