7th Summit of Chairmen of EPP-ED Parliamentary Groups - EU 27

Brussels, 16 April 2007

The EPP-ED Group - the largest political group in the European Parliament with 277 Members from all Member States, held a summit of EPP-ED Parliamentary Groups of the EU-27 Members States on Monday 16 April in the European Parliament. It is the 7th summit of the Members of the EPP-ED Presidency, Heads of EPP-ED Group national delegations and the Chairmen of the EPP-ED Parliamentary Groups in the national parliaments of the EU, and the 5th since the 2004 enlargement.

The summit, chaired by EPP-ED Group Chairman Joseph Daul MEP, focused on relations with Russia, the question of energy supplies, and climate change.
