What Future for the Constitutional Treaty?

An EPP-ED Hearing on the Constitution will take place on Thursday 8 March, to address questions on the future of the Constitutional Treaty and how to overcome the current impasse.

Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister of Luxembourg, René Van der Linden, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Elmar Brok MEP, Chairman of the EPP-ED Group in the Convention, Alain Lamassoure MEP, rapporteur on the EU own-resources report and Íñigo Méndez de Vigo MEP, EPP-ED spokesman in the Constitutional Affairs Committee, will be among the keynote speakers of the event, taking place in room A5E2 from 9.00am to 12.30pm in the European Parliament.
