EPP-ED Group Hearing on the Regulation on Roaming

A public hearing on the regulation on roaming was held on Thursday, 8 March 2007, on the initiative of Paul Rübig MEP, rapporteur for the regulation on telephone roaming charges and Gunnar Hökmark MEP, Vice-Chairman of the EPP-ED Group.

A number of experts from different mobile telephone operators across Europe will be speaking on how to achieve better regulation of prices at wholesale level, how to ensure that European customers benefit from the planned regulation in terms of lower roaming prices and transparency on mobile charges. The hearing will take place in room PHS 3C 50 from 9.00h-12.30h.
