Let's Get Together: European Open Day

On Saturday 4 May, Europe is celebrating the anniversary of the declaration in which Christian Democrat Robert Schuman launched, on 9 May, 1950, the project of European integration. Since then, Europe has come far. In four phases, Nine States have joined the six founding States thirteen others are waiting to join the Union. It is to this historic Enlargement that the Open Day is dedicated. And those who will next become full European Union citizens invite you to get to know them.

The EPP-ED Group, the strongest political force in the European Parliament with 233 members, welcomes visitors on the third floor of the European Parliament, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition to various activities for all ages, the EPP-ED Group will present its own activities and initiatives, through its publications and through free access to its website, at the service of all Europeans.
