Regional Dialogue

The Regional Dialogue between the Orthodox Church and Religious Communities in the Region of South Caucasus and the Group of the European People's Party and European Democrats in the European Parliament, takes place in Tbilisi, Georgia on 17-18 March 2008.
|
The EPP-ED Group is undertaking a multi-level debate with representatives of world religions. It holds frequent meetings with representatives of Islam, the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church.
|
Among the speakers will be Mikheil Saakashvili, President of Georgia, HE Metropolitan Emmanuel, Archbishop of France, the Representative of the Ecumenical Patriarch to the EU, Marian-Jean Marinescu MEP (EPP-ED, Romania), Vice-Chairman of the EPP-ED and many others.
