On Thursday 22nd November, the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection will vote on a report by Christopher Heaton-Harris MEP (United Kingdom) on a paperless environment for customs and trade.

The EU will create a new instrument for the implementation of interoperable and accessible automated customs systems which would lead to the realisation of the user-friendly 'Single Window' and 'One stop shop' concepts.
