Members of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development are set to vote on a report by EPP-ED Member Giuseppe Castiglione on the reform of the Common Market Organisation of wine on Wednesday, 21st November at 9.30am-12.30pm in the European Parliament. More than 900 amendments have been tabled for the committee vote.

The European Union is the world's leading producer, consumer, exporter and importer of wine. However, the overall steady decline in the consumption of EU wine over the past decades has pressurised both producers' prices and income.
