EPP-ED-Members in the Budget committee and the Budgetary Control Committee of the European Parliament will discuss the role of Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) in EU budget implementation in a public hearing on Monday, 15 October 2007. The hearing, co-chaired by the two EPP-ED Group co-ordinators Salvador Garriga Polledo MEP (Spain) and Inge Grässle (Germany) MEP will be held from 16.00 -18.30 in room ASP 3E2 in the European Parliament.

Representatives the European Commission and other institutions have also been invited to present their views on the subject.
