Trade with Ukraine

The International Trade Committee of the European Parliament votes on Tuesday on the report on Trade and Economic relations with Ukraine by Zbigniew Zaleski MEP (EPP-ED, Poland).

The report focuses on the forthcoming negotiations that should lead to a deeper integration of Ukraine into the EU single market - to enhance the mutual trade agreement. The economic partnership and trade are preconditions for building a stronger political and social trust. The EU thus cannot miss the unique opportunity to reinforce the transformation of Ukraine's economy to a functioning market economy and support the country in reaching WTO membership.
