Special EPP-ED Group Meeting commemorating the 1956 Hungarian revolution

The EPP-ED Group will hold a special Group Meeting to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian revolution in Strasbourg on Tuesday 24th October.

The Group meeting will take place in LOW building, room S1.4 from 18.00 to 19.00 hours.

The speeches will be given by Hans-Gert Poettering MEP, Chairman of the EPP-ED Group in the European Parliament, José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission, Viktor Orbán, Chairman of Fidesz Hungarian Civic Union, former Prime Minister of Hungary, and József Szájer MEP, Vice-Chairman of the EPP-ED Group and Head of the Hungarian Delegation in the EPP-ED Group, who will present a new book with texts from several MEPs "My '56".
