6th Summit of Chairmen of EPP-ED Parliamentary Groups - EU 25

The EPP-ED Group - the most important political group in the European Parliament with 264 Members, chaired by Hans-Gert Poettering MEP - organised a Summit of EPP-ED Parliamentary Groups of the European 25 on Monday 18 September in the European Parliament. It is the 6th summit of the Members of the EPP-ED Presidency, Heads of national delegations of the EPP-ED Group and the Presidents of the EPP-ED Parliamentary Groups in the national parliaments of the European Union, 4th since the enlargement in 2004.

The 6th Summit, which took place in the European Parliament buildings in Brussels, focused on issue of the parliamentary dimension of the EU and European strategy for a safe, competitive and sustainable energy.
