Women´s immigration

The issue of women´s immigration will is a focus of an own-initiative report of Rodi Kratsa MEP (EPP-ED, Greece). The report "Women’s immigration: the role and place of immigrant women in the European Union" will be voted upon in the European Parliament Committee on Women´s Rights and Gender Equality today. Mrs Kratsa focuses on not widely recognised problem of the immigrant women, which have needs and problems distinct from the general group of immigrants into the EU. The priority of Mrs Kratsa is to achieve easier access to the labour market and vocational training for women immigrants. The labour rights between the female and male immigrants should be equal.
