Schuman Medal awarded to Wolfgang Schäuble

Wolfgang Schäuble MP, Vice-Chairman of the CDU/CSU Group in the German Bundestag with responsibility for foreign, security and European policy, will be awarded the Robert Schuman Medal by the EPP-ED Group in the European Parliament on Wednesday, 29 June 2005 at 15.30 hrs during the EPP-ED Group's pre-Strasbourg meeting in Brussels. The Schuman medal is an honour presented to people who have made outstanding contributions to European integration.


Press Conference Poettering/Schäuble

The Chairman of the EPP-ED Group, Hans-Gert Poettering, will hold a press conference on the perspectives of European policy together with Wolfgang Schäuble MP, on Wednesday, 29 June 2005 at 16.30h.
